Summer Hack

Not sure about you, but with temperatures hitting 38 degrees over summer, sign me up for some AC and a cool drink. Anybody else?

We bring to you two classic summer juice recipes using our favourite summer fruit: WATERMELON

CLASSIC WATERMELON & LIME

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups watermelon (chopped)
  • 1/4 lime (squeeze, save juice)
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup (use honey for vegan option)
  • 1 slice lime (optional, for garnish)
  • Mint leaves (optional, for garnish)

Instructions:

  • Cut watermelon into chunks removing the rind and seeds. Place in a bowl and cool in fridge for 1-2 hours.
  • Combine all ingredients in blender – have a cup of water ready to adjust consistency depending on how thick / thin you like your drink!
  • Pour into glass and garnish (optional)

SPRITZY STRAWBERRY, WATERMELON & CUCUMBER

Ingredients:

  • 8-10 strawberries
  • 1 cup watermelon (chopped)
  • 1/4 cucumber (peeled)
  • Mint leaves (optional, for garnish)

Instructions:

  • Cut watermelon into cubes removing the rind and seeds. Place in a bowl and cool in fridge for 1-2 hours.
  • Peel the cucumber, and cut into large pieces
  • Combine all ingredients in blender – have a cup of water ready to adjust consistency depending on how thick / thin you like your drink!
  • Pour into glass and garnish (optional)
